ECOFUT annually publishes the statistics on recovery of rigid plastic industrial and commercial packaging. In order to evaluate the tonnage of raw material put on the market and made for package manufacturing, several sources of information are taken into consideration: the suppliers of raw materials (companies), the Syndicat des Producteurs de Matières Plastiques (SPMP) (Syndicate of Plastic Material Producers) and the converters who are members of the CSEMP - Chambre syndicale des emballages en matieres plastiques (French Plastic Packaging Association).

Mainly, ECOFUT distributes its practical guide, information letter and video at professional trade shows.

The practical guide "Choice, Use and Recovery of Rigid Plastic Packaging for Industrial Use" updated in November 1998, has been put together to inform each user of the conditions to which the packaging must comply before being put on the market. This should give a maximum degree of safety during its use. Another aim is to help the final holder to choose the recovery method best suited to his packaging pool.

The ECOFUT information letter, which comes out annually, enables to present the statistics for packaging recovery, to inform you about new operators who have been authorised by ECOFUT and to give you the latest news on legislation.

The video that is available at professional trade shows also serves as an aid when encountering different partners such as the CCI, DRIRE (Regional Management of Industry, Research and the Environment)…

ECOFUT regularly participates in various professional trade fairs and particularly in trade shows in the packaging sector. This enables ECOFUT to be in direct contact with packaging users.
